I really liked that! When we got there and walked around to see things they also had a Playstation game going on on the big screen. There were sitting areas outside and inside. They get 2 stars. The overall atmosphere with outter parties coming to the establishment makes the experience what it is. I have come here a total of 5 times and every time I’ve come here I’ve felt racial biases despite them having a full diverse staff. The people at the bar are extremely rude unles... Read more

The people at the bar are extremely rude unless it’s a male they happen to be friendlier than the women. There’s 2 women up there that need to be fired as they pick and choose who they think should be served first instead of seeing the line. Overall experience a 2. The place isn’t cleaned very well. This place kind of reminded me of queen park social except this was a lot bigger and gave more of a variety of different games and different options. My husband and I were walking around southend on a Saturday afternoon and stumbled upon this place. We didn't have an egenda in mind and just wanted to enjoy the outdoors. We walked in, and they are very spacious with a free photo booth in the front and multiple bowling lanes with ski ball games as well. They have a self pour beer section. You grab your glass, scan your credit or debit card, and start pouring. There is also a bar with seating if you decide you want something other than beer. They also have a room filled with arcade games, and I was sooooo stoked to see that they had GUITAR HERO! my all-time favorite, and u was there most of my time there. Unfortunately a lot of the other games we tried to play such as dance dance revolution, beer pong and a shooting game, they were either out of order or just ate up our credits so that left with limited choices. They do have small sections with a lot of board games to choose from, sorry, trouble, cards, etc. They have an outside patio, which wr made use off and two big games of Connect four. We went around 2 pm, so it definitely was not busy at all, which we loved, but I can see how it can get quite busy and packed during a Friday or Saturday night. Quite a good time. Recommend it if you want something casual and not a total night club scene. They do have attached paid parking lot beside this location, or if you're lucky, you can find side street parking. I visited Slingshot in Charlotte, NC this weekend, and it was hands-down one of the best bar experiences I’ve had! The place is massive, with plenty of room to chill and enjoy the vibe. They’ve got a killer setup with fun games to play while sipping on some top-notch cocktails. The outdoor patio was perfect for catching some rays, but the AC inside kept things nice and cool when I needed a break. Their drink menu blew me away—four different slushies, which is way more creative than any bar I’ve been to! The dance floor is huge, decked out with a legit disco ball and awesome lighting that made the night feel electric. The DJ was on point, spinning a mix of hip hop, R&B, house, and even some family-friendly tracks earlier in the day, so there was something for everyone. The staff was super friendly and kept the energy high all night. Slingshot is the real deal, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Highly recommended! Brandon Show less

In town for the weekend and this sounded like a great place. You get a card that you can use to get you own beer from taps. Awesome in concept, but for some reason most of the beers came out as just foam. We kept having to find an employee so we wouldn’t be charged for a glass of foam. You can play games with a card, but not the same card you use to get your own beer. The food you order and pick up at the bar. We ordered the sweet potato fries which honesty did not seem like they were fried, that’s how limp and mushy they were. When I went to leave I was told my total, but not given a bill or anything just one of the Apple screens to sign. Tip options were 7, 5 and 3 %, I asked if there was already a tip since the options were so low and I was told there was. I was forced to tip 20% on me getting my own beer and food. That is annoying. I bought a drink at the bar and tipped the waiter $10 cause he was super friendly and we had a great convo. Forcing me to tip 20% for me schlepping my own stuff is just wrong. Do better on that and the beers coming out correctly and the place would be cool. Show less

Phenomenal service, everybody that works there was really sweet and nice and kind. Got an $80 fine for not paying to park and I think that’s just ridiculous. Didn’t even know I had to pay to park 5 feet away from the building. I’ll admit that’s on me for not paying more attention but paying to park in the parking lot of the business that you’re walking into just seems ridiculous to me. Especially since it’s a bar. So please for the love of God don’t forget that you have to pay to park otherwise you’ll be paying $80 for being in their parking lot for three hours. Show less

For my sister’s 21st birthday, we visited Slingshot for their “Gather & Groove” event. The dance floor was very spacious, and the DJs were great! High energy and fun from the start. My main complaint was the lack of customer service early in the night. Multiple stalls in the women’s restroom were out of toilet paper, so I tried to find a staff member for assistance. I avoided the main bar since the bartenders were clearly very busy. There was also no one at the front desk when I checked, and after waiting for a while with no luck, I went to one of the mini bars to ask for help. The highlight of the night, service-wise, was Erin. She went out of her way to track down a manager to resolve the issue and was incredibly kind, friendly, and professional. Honestly, I wish I had ordered all of my drinks from her. One thing I found confusing was that drink tabs automatically included a 20% gratuity. When it came time to tip, the screen only offered “+3%, +5%, or +7%” options, which wasn’t clearly explained. I think that should be more transparent for customers. That said, Erin’s exceptional service made it easy for me to choose the additional +7% tip. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience. My sister and our friend both had a great time, and we danced nonstop even before the crowd fully arrived. The DJs were fantastic, so it was surprising that more people didn’t take advantage of the dance floor! Show less

Hey babe, just had the coolest experience while waiting for our brunch spot at Ruby Sunshine in South End. This trendy barcade a few doors down totally caught my eye with its amazing lights and wild outdoor holiday decor. We showed up around 11am on a Saturday, so we basically owned the place. They’ve got a bowling alley, tons of arcade games, brews on tap that you pour yourself, and a huge dance floor that’s begging for a night out. The best part? Our bartender was a total rockstar—super quick, knew all the specials off the top of her head, and seriously nailed that Green Tea Shot. I’m pretty sure this place goes absolutely CRAZY at night. Can’t wait to come back and see my girl again—she was working on 12/6 at 12:20pm (pic below)! Definitely going to make a night of it soon! Show less
