Place sold me a bad console that was “refurbished and guaranteed” (upon further inspection, there is a stain of sticky substance that is clearly visible after taking the top off, therefore I am highly suspect any work was done on the system at all); was told to contact if there were any issues at any time after purchase; called back and even offered to pay for shipping but they were not wanting to do that; now stuck w/ two non-functional units of the same device. This is the BEST video game store in all of the Carolinas. They deal with EVERY single major gaming system you can think of and they have unbeatable prices. Not to mention all the services the store owner provides. Very knowledgable and their inventory is always on point. If you're looking for a very specific nostalgic game, they will most likely have it. I've gotten countless PS2 games and accessories here and even got a PSP! And unlike the other game stores, they sell modded PS2 memory cards and a hard drive of 200+ PS2 games for the low! Better than every single store, yet it's so humble. Show less

I’m not sure if this was a simple oversight or if you guys even check to see if games are counterfeit but for a company that’s been actively selling on eBay since 2001, I sure hope so. One of if not the best video game store I've ever been to. The owner is very nice and works with the customer. The layout is very functional for the customer to shop around. All the products are clean and wrapped like new. Very organized and full of gems. As a video game collector and reseller it's hard to impress me as most video game stores generally have the same stuff. But Software Seconds is full extremely interesting items. With that said Software Seconds has been in business for over 25 years so he's built an abundance of kiosk machines, and great signage. The owner actually sold me two extremely great signs while I was there and gave me very good prices. For anyone within a decent range of this store I highly recommend. Being at this store really boosted my morale as I was out of town for work. With that said my photos are from my hotel room. To finalize my review I am extremely happy with my visit to Software Seconds and hope to find myself in Columbia South Carolina again. Show less
