Took my 7 year old here for his first comic store experience. Staff was super helpful, pointed out the area for young audiences, and my son picked out his first comic. He had a blast! The store was actually bigger than I expected. I didn't have much of a chance to dive in deep on what they carried, but it appeared they had a good selection from what I could tell. Walking into Soundwave Comics is everything you could possibly hope for in your friendly neighborhood comic shop. The sheer volume of inventory serves as a sign of the treasure hunt to come. Various character figurines and statues existing within a sea of story books lined with a wall of Funko pops makes sure there's a bit of something for everyone. Owner and proprietor Greg speaks with everyone as an old friend might, making each and every person feel absolutely welcome. All of the staff I've met in my years of patronage have been there for a love of the art and it really shows. All team members are knowledgeable and helpful - if you don't know what you're looking for, don't be afraid to ask! I can tell you first hand that I have had countless interesting conversations and made many friends while under the roof of this fine establishment. Quality establishment, staff, and inventory. Various character figurines and statues existing within a sea of story books lined with a wall of Funko pops makes sure there's a bit of something for everyone. Went in after several years of not following comics. Greg gave me distance while I looked around and checked everything out. Once I asked him a question, he was with me explaining lore and events and current runs. Also gave me a tour of the place and showed me where I could find each publisher's comics. As someone who doesn't want to be approached at a store unless I approach them, this place was a dream. Greg helped me find exactly what I was looking for and even went above and beyond with his recommendations. Another staff member, who's name I did not get, also showed me their back issues and where to find just random comics that might be fun. Picked up an indie one off just by looking! This will undoubtedly be my comic shop as long as they're willing to have me. Thank you to everyone for a great experience! I'll be setting up a pull list soon. Show less

I’ll start out by saying: absolutely visit this shop. Soundwave Comics is more than worth your time — it’s a place run by people who clearly care about what they do, and it shows. They offer a fantastic selection of comics, along with DVDs and music that cover a wide range of genres and interests. Everything on the main floor is well-organized, clearly labeled, and easy to browse, which makes the shopping experience smooth and enjoyable. The only real drawback is the number of boxes set off to the side, filled with collectibles, comics, and other items that aren’t yet for sale. It seems like they’re working through a large overstock, which is understandable, but it’s a little disappointing to see so many intriguing items just out of reach. Still, that’s a small issue in an otherwise excellent store. If you’re in the area — Soundwave Comics should be your go-to comic shop. Tell your friends, support this amazing local business, and help keep their passion project thriving. Show less
