We recently tried Spill the beans coffee and ice cream. My husband got strawberry banana ice cream and I got pistachio. We both got 2 scoops, but my husband's was significantly smaller in size and he paid more for it, since it was 2 flavors and waffle cone. My pistachio ice cream was actually not too bad in flavor, but not mixed well, so most of the pistachio was just on top. Our friends got coffee and commented that it tasted watered down. I gave it a try and I agree- you might as well have had mcdonald's coffee and saved money... But I gotta say, it did look pretty- with the latte art. Honestly, the place itself is really cool, and the location is great. That being said, their hours are ridiculous for it being a centrally located coffee shop in the heart of downtown. I’m writing this review on a Saturday at 2:30 in the afternoon, and they are closed. This has happened on several occasions. How you all stay open is beyond me with the amount of customers and revenue you lose each day you do this. Maybe ownership is too wealthy to care, but it’s a really odd way to run a business that is based on serving the public. I’d rather support a local coffee shop like Spill The Beans, but instead, I’m forced to go across the street and buy Starbucks. If you don’t want to be open most of the time like other similar coffee shops, then just sell the location to someone who does. Show less

Cozy place on main street that got recommended a lot online so I thought I'd check it out. The prices are similar to other places nearby. There are TONS of places to sit but inside as pretty dark so I walked a bit away to sit outside in the sun. I got the dirty chai! The chai wasn't what I would normally like because it wasn't very spicy, but it also wasn't overly sweet, which I liked. The espresso though was SO smooth and had a great great taste. They are always out of multiple mix in ingredients. They have the weirdest hours and are sometimes closed when Google (and their own signs) say they’re open. This used to be a great ice cream shop and I have been coming here since I was a kid and before they moved to the new Main Street location. Sad to see management turn this place into a waste of time money and flavor. Trash cans were also unsanitary and overflowing (see pics). Show less

We recently tried Spill the beans coffee and ice cream. My husband got strawberry banana ice cream and I got pistachio. We both got 2 scoops, but my husband's was significantly smaller in size and he paid more for it, since it was 2 flavors and waffle cone. My pistachio ice cream was actually not too bad in flavor, but not mixed well, so most of the pistachio was just on top. Our friends got coffee and commented that it tasted watered down. I gave it a try and I agree- you might as well have had mcdonald's coffee and saved money... But I gotta say, it did look pretty- with the latte art. Honestly, the place itself is really cool, and the location is great. That being said, their hours are ridiculous for it being a centrally located coffee shop in the heart of downtown. I’m writing this review on a Saturday at 2:30 in the afternoon, and they are closed. This has happened on several occasions. How you all stay open is beyond me with the amount of customers and revenue you lose each day you do this. Maybe ownership is too wealthy to care, but it’s a really odd way to run a business that is based on serving the public. I’d rather support a local coffee shop like Spill The Beans, but instead, I’m forced to go across the street and buy Starbucks. If you don’t want to be open most of the time like other similar coffee shops, then just sell the location to someone who does. Show less
