This place is something. Every game you can imagine is here. I LOVE that the tables are embedded with magical wizard hair, so any board game you put on the table, you can jump into. It's so fun, but.... a little scary depending on what game you dive into. I wish you could do that with card games, but with the constant turning of new cards, I'd just get a headache. Staff are very kind and easy to talk to. Food is well priced, and it's a very welcoming and comforting environment. 10/10 I will be coming again. Show less

So much fun! A few softer chairs would be nice, but man the pulled pork sandwich was really good and so was the grilled cheese. The battle-chips was an amount that I tried to eat them all and I couldn't, salsa was obviously homemade and somewhat perfect actually. It was my friend's birthday and we played 5minute dungeons (?) 5 minute something I can't remember but it was super fun. I had my 5y/o with me and she kept herself busy, there were lots of kids games but I wouldn't recommend bringing kids under 5 or 6. It's kid friendly but not chuck e cheese. I haven't had that much fun in a long time. I will definitely be back again and definitely plan to enjoy more adult beverages next time. Prices of food and drinks and snacks and the 5 buck door fee was still under 50$ for me and my daughter and I can barely make out that good at McDonald's! Really can't wait to go back. I didn't take a picture while I was there so here's a sweet comic instead. Show less

The battle-chips was an amount that I tried to eat them all and I couldn't, salsa was obviously homemade and somewhat perfect actually. The food options are really good, way better than you’d expect for a board game café, and the staff always go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Brian, the owner, is such a nice guy and really cares about the community vibe here. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making it a place where people want to hang out, not just play games. Staff is friendly and notified us for last calls on orders as they were closing soon. There were so many games! We couldn't choose for a while but we found absolute gems. The space also feels really inclusive, from gender neutral restrooms to the extremely kind and accommodating staff. They feel like a board game space first and cafe second, but the food and drinks are tasty and comforting—big fan of the nachos! Prices are also so reasonable so it's easy to spend a day here. I do sometimes find it a bit cold in the space, so I like to bring a big scarf/small blanket. Reservations aren't necessary, but I would recommend calling them if you want to ensure a spot as they can fill up quickly! Big thanks to the staff, we love spending time there 🤗 Show less

i really like this place ! i’ve gone in as a couple and still felt like there were lots of options for two players only. the place is well organized and all the games are cared for as best as possible given the amount of players. i have always had fun here and the space itself doesn’t amplify volume too much even as some players in the space can get quite loud. i think lots of ages and abilities can be accommodated here. i do wish some of the non-booth seats were a bit comfier because it gets hard to sit in them for hours. one thing that is a bit odd is that 3 times when the store returned my call to confirm a reservation the number came up on my phone as spam as it wasn’t the store phone number that was displayed. also i appreciate the hybrid table / counter service but the table service is a bit confusing. i’ve started to ask different staff members how often they come around because they all say different things. one said, “we come by usually once ever hour” then was never seen again for the 2.5 more hours we were there. another said, “usually just when people first come in then again if im going to a nearby table”. it’s not really an issue to order at the counter (very easy process) but it is confusing to have so many differences for table service.
