Nice board games, but they're a bit old. They write receipts by hand, which is old-fashioned. They made us order something within 10-20 minutes of getting there, even though we told them we were waiting for our friends.

I was unexpectedly impressed with this place! But remember CASH only. Biking by it, it doesn’t look like much. Mainly an older demographic you see in the windows so was a bit skeptical at first. I was unexpectedly impressed with this place! But remember CASH only. Biking by it, it doesn’t look like much. Mainly an older demographic you see in the windows so was a bit skeptical at first. Finally tested it out tonight and I loved it! TONS AND TONS of games available. (See photos). From card games, to board games, to checkers, and dominos, etc. They have it all. I got the Hollands burger with bacon and cheese. I think it was around 5.50 euros. Then with French fries, it was another 2-3euros I think. Not HUGE portions, but definitely filling. I don’t feel like a fat cow after eating there. Warm, coast, atmosphere. Everyone’s focused playing games at the tables. Clean bathrooms. Kind and attentive staff. I wish I came up with the idea myself. Fun place that’s affordable, well-kept, and lovely. Will be having game nights with more friends here in the future! Show less

What a place, chill and play any game you wish, or just meet friends and family for a drink…I haven’t been to bar / cafe like this. The UK should take note. Great being with family for sure, nice playing risk…but you need the right atmosphere and dare I say it, if you so inclined the right tipple ... Read more

One of a kind in Amsterdam with lovely service and generous homestyle food. Great tabletop/ cardgame focused environment, with a large collection of games to choose from, or a good place to bring your own. A real gem of the buurt!

We visited this café-bar expecting a lively board-game spot, but it has changed quite a lot. 🎲 The place is no longer the fun, youthful games bar you’d imagine from Google Maps. Instead, it has become more of a traditional pub for older gentlemen who enjoy a quiet beer, and the games are simply there in the background rather than part of the atmosphere. 🍺 It doesn’t even go by the same name listed online, and the vibe is very different from what we expected. There’s no real energy, no playful feel and nothing particularly modern or cool about it. If you’re looking for a proper board-game bar, this isn’t the place, but if you want a calm drink in a classic pub setting, it might suit you. 👍 Show less
