I've had a lot of negative experiences with this business including being misled about preorders, and very veryyyy delayed communication [including involving a preorder which should only take 1 call with the distributor to figure out, not a 3+ week long situation of unknowingness causing indefinite ... I've had a lot of negative experiences with this business including being misled about preorders, and very veryyyy delayed communication [including involving a preorder which should only take 1 call with the distributor to figure out, not a 3+ week long situation of unknowingness causing indefinite confusion]. Don't waste your time doing business nor playing here when there are plenty of other better businesses to play TCGs at locally, that will actually appreciate/respect your time and money. This place is ran like a farm's chicken with it's head just being cut off. Idk if they interacted with me in the ways they did just because I'm a paralyzed quadriplegic, but I'm not cognitively deficient aka not a fool. Check out Unplugged or Comix Zone first, you'll see what I mean. 🤠 Show less

Don't waste your time doing business nor playing here when there are plenty of other better businesses to play TCGs at locally, that will actually appreciate/respect your time and money. So, I'll be frank. My experience with tcf stores is limited, and I'm usually only there on fridays(When swu local games are held),so please take this into consideration. So let's get the bad stuff outta of the way. And in all honesty, there isn't ANYTHING bad here, but there could be stuff to improve upon. Their local store building is small compared to some of the other venues around syracuse. I will also not deny their in store selection does leave something to be desired. HOWEVER, in my personal experience, this store makes up for the lack of in store selection with quality of service, it's community, and the affordability of it's games. I'll address them in said order. First, quality of service. The staff are some of the most ACCOMODATING and RESPECTFUL people you'll meet. They treat everyone with respect(assuming you choose to do the same.) In addition, although timeliness is a bit irregular, this works surprisingly to its benefit. When star wars unlimited released, They Went out of their way to ASK players if they were OK waiting an extra 15 minutes for my arrival, and the community was more than willing. And I was late 20 minutes. And before I hear "The customer is always right", I beg to differ on the grounds that I believe "community consensus is key" for running a welcoming, successful business, as they have proved completely and then some. Onto the community:I've seldom been in a gaming community as welcoming to new players and collectors as this. Many a time, I've tried joining communities that are elitists, dishonest or downright disrespectful. This community completely flips the script and might as well rolled a 20 on a charm check And affordability. They are generously low with their prices. Sure, minature market may be cheaper, but in terms of stock for the newly released stuff, in the words of grandmaster yoda:"Size Matters Not." And they deliver on quality. I've never seen any goods that are damaged on their storefront, period. Admittedly, I haven't shopped online there, so I will not review that part. But if you're new to syracuse, or heck, just want to find a nice community to game with, I HIGHLY recommend this place! Show less

Wonderful welcoming staff, fantastic safe atmosphere (respectful of gender identity if anyone is wondering), absolutely will be going back regularly. Additionally, my family had a ton of fun playing Exploding Kittens and my daughter and I had a lot of fun with the MTG Jumpstart packs we got there. Prices were definitely competitive, the tabletop game I purchased was $15 and the manufacturer website lists for $20. All in all fantastic experience. Also it’s a worker co-op so it’s one of the more (if not the most) ethical of the local game stores. Show less

Just happen to be walking by and saw this store was open I walked in and saw everyone playing magic the gathering having a good time I was low-key looking for Pokemon cards bc I like to collect them. But I asked them about the magic the gathering and this guy named Justin taught me how to play he was very nice and patient with me and he gave me a free starter deck to learn how to play with . Very nice folks in there and very fun game to play , if you like card games and wanna learn I recommend coming by, I for one well definitely be back Show less
