I was randomly searching card shops on Google Maps and had come across this shop. As I was driving by, it was impossible to miss. Let's just say it's on my way home from work. I stop here quite frequently now as I've been building my collections, and the prices, selection, care, and vibes are all worth a 5-star review. Dedicated to the Pokémon world and always looking for the next Pokémon venture. Not only are there cards and collectible, but there are games happening practically all day long whether with friends or others. You can go in and ether to play the game or pick up some sweet cards. I was randomly searching card shops on Google Maps and had come across this shop. As I was driving by, it was impossible to miss. Let's just say it's on my way home from work. I stop here quite frequently now as I've been building my collections, and the prices, selection, care, and vibes are all worth a 5-star review. Dedicated to the Pokémon world and always looking for the next Pokémon venture. Not only are there cards and collectible, but there are games happening practically all day long whether with friends or others. You can go in and ether to play the game or pick up some sweet cards. I have since come back many times with my ten year old and he loves being advised by the knowledgeable staff who do such a great job informing him of things he should consider before buying a card or pack. I recently discovered the joy of collecting pokemon cards so I decided to check out this place hoping for some cool finds and connections... only to be disappointed by a rude staff member. It was difficult to get his attention in the first place, but when I asked about different pokemon card packs, he just kind of pointed towards the shelf behind him and then walked away. I saw that individual packs were $7 and a box of 6 packs was $45 so I was wondering whether the box perhaps has something extra in it (I eventually found out they dont). Again I had to struggle to get the staff's attention to ask about the price difference and he snarkily said "yea I wonder why" and again physically walked away from the conversation. I recently discovered the joy of collecting pokemon cards so I decided to check out this place hoping for some cool finds and connections... only to be disappointed by a rude staff member. Prices are a little high, trade-in is a little low. However it is a brick and mortar shop in Seattle and they need to pay bills so it makes sense. Lots of events here every week, I have never been to one but I see them posted online or they have been going on sometimes when I go in there. Big open table area for all of that so that is nice. Staff is always helpful but it can be busy in there. You may need to ask for their attention. I have never had to because I like looking around at what they got so I just wait until someone asks if I need anything. Occasionally you can find really good deals. I think its rare but it does happen. I recommend checking out damaged cards you may be interested in. Sometimes they are in better condition than damaged. They also have a SMALL selection of binders and card sleeves. Again, there is some markup on them compared to what you would find online, but by buying here you are supporting a local business that I feel is very passionate about not just the TCG Community, but the Seattle community as well. Edit responding to owners salty response: Dropped it to one star do to the unnecessary sass from the owner. Sell magic stuff, and also, make it more clear on your Google. And, even after reading your remarkably logical response, I still think your name is confusing. Also your SEO still pops up when I search magic the gathering store. It's relatively common to see TCG stores that sell more than one TCG. And until now unheard of game stores with "tabletop" in the name not selling any tabletop products, just one specific TCG, which is what I mentioned in my review. And to be 100% clear, they did have like a couple MTG products so if you're looking for packs from the latest set you will probably find them. No idea why the owner is trying to come off so strong as not being a magic store but still stocking magic? But then getting mad when people come for magic and don't get what they are looking for? Anyways they just don't have much of anything MTG (or other TCGs) and apparently the owner has a short temper. Show less

Tabletop village is the toast of Pokemon oriented stores. I’ve visited four times and have competed at their store. The store is welcoming, has great staff and great people walk through the door. Every time I’ve been in the store I’ve been helped by the handsome Cameron and the funny Derek who help me decide on what cards to buy for my decks. I’ve also had the opportunity to attend their potlucks rewarding their players for achievements in the game. I believe their last pot luck celebrated a kids regional win as well as having the oldest competitor at day 2 of the European championship. The store is huge and has a variety of supplies. I see so many people complain about sealed product pricing but all the pricing has been market rate every time I’ve gone. It seems it’s upset people who don’t support the stores complaining. The owners Brian and Adelaide are always there to provide advice on local food spots and really show how great their community is. They also support diverse communities with all-gender bathrooms and a poke flag made of all the energies. If you’re in Seattle and love Pokemon stop by! Show less

Every time I’ve been in the store I’ve been helped by the handsome Cameron and the funny Derek who help me decide on what cards to buy for my decks.
