Great coffee with multiple milk options (no extra charge!!!) vegan, veggie + more options for desserts and snacks. Went with a small group of friends and every food item we ordered was incredible. Staff were very friendly and kind, making comments on our games and giving recycle what to play next. Game selection was also very good. And I loved that there were different groups of people. Families. Dates. Friend groups. It was just the loveliest atmosphere and I will definitely be coming back a lot. Show less

Wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. Everything was phenomenal. Truly the best cafe I’ve visited in a long time. Great coffee with multiple milk options (no extra charge!!!) vegan, veggie + more options for desserts and snacks. Went with a small group of friends and every food item we ordered was incredible. Great cafe for all things nerdy - board game meetups, Magic the Gathering tournaments, D&D workshops and even pub quizzes. The interior is warm and inviting, the owner and staff are all lovely, and they have a great board game collection ranging from light party games (Code Names, Just One) to heavier strategy games (Root, Spirit Island) and everything in between (Azul, Splendor, Scout etc.). The food options are a bit limited, but what they do have is quite good and the drinks are even better (Berliner Berg on tap!). Overall a really lovely spot that's become a weekly tradition for me on Tuesday evenings. Highly recommended :) Show less

Great cafe for all things nerdy - board game meetups, Magic the Gathering tournaments, D&D workshops and even pub quizzes. The interior is warm and inviting, the owner and staff are all lovely, and they have a great board game collection ranging from light party games (Code Names, Just One) to heavier strategy games (Root, Spirit Island) and everything in between (Azul, Splendor, Scout etc.). Great place for board gaming, but even better for Tabletop Roleplaying Games like D&D or Pathfinder, especially when booking the dedicated roleplaying room. That room offers light effects, a sound system, incredibly atmospheric interior design featuring e.g. bookshelves with eery tomes and other features that make me very happy as a Game Master. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the food (I recommend tarte flambée!) is excellent, too. This combination really helps make this a cozy place for me and my friends to escape everyday life for a few hours almost every week and just enjoy ourselves. Show less

Great place for board gaming, but even better for Tabletop Roleplaying Games like D&D or Pathfinder, especially when booking the dedicated roleplaying room. That room offers light effects, a sound system, incredibly atmospheric interior design featuring e.g. bookshelves with eery tomes and other features that make me very happy as a Game Master. My board gaming group has been using Tales Untold as our meeting place since the very beginning. It was intended to be a one time location but we loved it so much that we've never gone anywhere else. The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly, and they've always been very accommodating. The manager remembers me by name and is always sure to greet me. The food and drinks are always delicious. The library of games has a lot of options, both in German and English. There is so much value for an extremely affordable rate. We once got to use the roleplay room as an unexpected upgrade, due to a busy day in the main room. It is incredibly cool! It's quiet, has a private bathroom, and is decorated to be the perfect location for a game of DND. I would absolutely recommend this location for playing games. Whether it's a big group or a small one, you're sure to have a great time at this location and want to go back again and again. I suggest making a reservation, because it's a popular destination for Berlin gamers. Show less
