8 months agoGreeted by an unfriendly bartender, my wife and I ordered a frozen slushy and frozen margarita. The drinks furthered the disappointment as we paid $24 for two subpar drinks that were difficult to stomach down.

1 year agoI had a great experience renting out the taproom for a surprise birthday party. The Glass Jug rental coordinator was very helpful and the bartenders/brewery staff were wonderful and so much fun during the event.

There’s a lot of great places to drink good beer in Durham and this place is no exception. Bringing in food is allowed (even encouraged) so it’s a perfect place to sit and drink with takeout from the Durham Food Hall across the street. The covered deck overlooking Central Park is a huge perk and pet friendly, although there are limited seats and they can fill up fast if there is nice weather or live music nearby on the lawn. Beer is really good, I enjoy the Opacity hazy IPA that is one of their standards - plus they have seasonal rotations and a few alternatives for non beer-drinkers. Staff have been welcoming and kind every time we’ve been in. Show less

3 years agoConveniently located in Downtown Durham next to Durham Food Hall (you can bring your food or take out from the Hall), you can try a wide selection of craft beers. They also host trivia nights and other social events, which are fun to participate in!

2 years agoThis is a great hangout spot, for couples and friends. They have board games and a variety of on tap beers and cocktails! Yes, cocktails too. I had a great time and both my beer, and cocktail were delicious. The staff were also attentive and friendly. Will definitely be coming back with a crowd :)

2 years agoI've never had a beer from Glass Jug that I didn't like! They also have draft cocktails now as well and they are amazing too. Their patio also has some of the best people watching in Durham and you can bring in food from the food hall.
