We had a fantastic time with our recent visit to the Paladins League. The food and drinks were great, and the service was even better. We went there for the games, so I wasn't sure if we were going to have food, but I'm very glad we did. The game options were great too. I'm not a regular board-game player, but you don't need to be one in order to enjoy yourself there. There is a very big selection of games of all types. Lots of games for kids too. Whether you go there for games, for food, or for both, I highly recommend the Paladins League! Show less

We had a fantastic time with our recent visit to the Paladins League. The food and drinks were great, and the service was even better. We went there for the games, so I wasn't sure if we were going to have food, but I'm very glad we did. The game options were great too. I'm not a regular board-game player, but you don't need to be one in order to enjoy yourself there. There is a very big selection of games of all types. Lots of games for kids too. Whether you go there for games, for food, or for both, I highly recommend the Paladins League! Show less

Had a sweet Father’s Day brunch with my husband and our baby. The space is very stroller-friendly and easy to navigate. We both had the breakfast biscuit which was insanely delicious. The biscuit was homemade, the bacon was perfect and there was a little extra cheese cooked to crispy perfection around the edges, plus a sweet bacon jam that balanced it out nicely. The staff is friendly. Apparently the chef bakes all the pastries there and I saw some very tempting mini apple pies and berry coffee cake that looked delicious. I also had the huckleberry shake (a special) and it was lightly sweet and delicious, a lovely summer treat. We aren’t really board game people, just a family with a young baby who wanted an east place to get brunch, and this place far exceeded our expectations. Will definitely be back!! Show less

Currently free to play boardgame library during soft opening and will be a small fee for unlimited play. Super excited to have it in the neighborhood. Can't wait to spend more date nights here. The menu currently has beer, cocktail, milkshakes, sodas, burgers, sandwiches, sides, and more. Also specials on chalkboard at the counter. We had fun and this will be the perfect winter escape. Fun for all ages. I would only suggest more sharable food or snacks that are less messy to eat while playing games. Maybe some coffee or tea. Some things to buy like apparel or stickers. Great staff, good food, fun games. They have a very cool looking private room w/fancy game table to rent, as well as reserved tables and walk-in booths and 4-tops. They have an excellent game selection! Not the old basic, zero-effort Americana games, but modern games that are fun, take thought, strategy, and cleverness to play and win. I'm excited to try out more games here. They have a great pastry selection. I enjoyed the chicken pot (hand) pie, the milkshake, and cider. Can't wait to get into the apple pie & blueberry coffee cake - they look excellent. The only complaint: Horrible, just horrible music. 80's & 90's tracks on repeat. We heard "me so horney" three times, among other repeats. The first time was both nostalgic and awkward with the young kids around. Repeats were cringe. Please play original, royalty-free, creative commons, etc. if it costs too much to play something appropriate (Cloud Cover is $16/month commercial use, I believe.) Music aside, I'm looking fwd to coming back :) Show less

I really wanted to like this place but they were not allergen friendly and the waitress was snooty. My friend has an egg allergy and all the gluten free bread had egg in it. Since the options were so amazingly limited we got fries and 2 ciders and he brought Thai in while finishing up our game. We spent 30 dollars and would have gladly gone back but then the passive aggressive waitress told us they were closing and if she had seen the Thai she would have made us leave because it wasn’t up to code to have outside food. I’m sorry. We tried to order more food but the options were SO limited. No dairy free, gluten free/ egg free bun options. The way she spoke to me was so unnecessary and in the least bit helpful. Please someone give this woman a class on customer service and effective communication. Next time just say "Just wanted to let you know we don't allow outside food for next time," as I am walking out the door, instead of telling me "good thing I didn't see that or I would have told you to leave." She acted like I brought a weapon into her establishment. They also closed our tab and add 20% gratuity while we were still in the game cafe because they said they thought we were gone even though we were in plain sight. They just printed the receipt without trying to remove the 20%. Little to say we asked them to remove it. Next time we are just going to go to Mox. Also why are you closing at 10 on a Friday? Since the options were so amazingly limited we got fries and 2 ciders and he brought Thai in while finishing up our game. Just attended an event here. The space is big, bright, and inviting, and has good sound dampening so it didn't get too loud. The food was solid, but I think what sets the place apart is the amenities, and moreover the people who work there. The staff was really professional and I appreciated that they were checking with the kitchen periodically so we could put in our orders a little bit before the event was technically even starting. They even designed themed drinks for our event. The owner seemed genuinely passionate about all the cool features of the venue like their board game library, a private rentable D&D room with huge miniature collection, and their family friendly atmosphere. This is a great place to chill and play some board games or a TTRPG with some friends/family. Show less
