Didn’t eat here, came in with my fiancé to pick out a board game. Didnt catch the individuals name who helped us but they were wonderful to chat with and helped us pick out a few games. There were also plenty of people there playing games.

Absolutely love the concept of a board game cafe and glad one is located downtown. Unlimited 3 hr board game play for $10/person. Great for groups of 2 or more people. Both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages available. Somewhat limited options for alcohol in their fridge but the craft ciders and beers are super tasty. Coffee, tea and smoothies are also available. Light snacks for sale such as candies and baked goods but I would go there expecting to get a meal. One con of this place was the space itself. It is somewhat small but they do make maximal use of the space. There is both the main room and a back side room. The lighting in the back room makes it feel like a grungy basement and preferred the main room. Tables themselves are large for game play but somewhat squished together. Overall I had a great time hanging out with a friend while playing board games. A perfect way to spend a Sunday evening. Show less

Great hole in the wall spot! There are good summer beers, coffee, tea and sodas to purchase. The game library will get your inner kid feeling like it’s Christmas and your cousins came over!!! Super chill spot for groups to come play and have some fun

Very cool concept: for $5 per person, you can play your pick from hundreds of board games. You can also buy games. A great way to spend a few hours, and you can tell the patrons are enjoying themselves tremendously.

This place is a hidden gem. A small hybrid bar/cafe with an endless selection of board games as it’s main attraction. There’s nothing better than going with a few friends and losing track of time over a game of Uno or monopoly. Very queer and nerd friendly environment, too.

The workers are very very nice, they were clear, helpful and immediately explained the rules and everything. They were active and the games were very organized. You also have a lot of option to even buy the games. There were 1 floor to ceiling wall of playable games and 3 walls and displays of buyable games. Not kid friendly though, a lot of adults males playing role play boardgames (the ones that are long, takes 1-3 hours to play and require a lot of experience). Loved the experience I will be returning ❤️ The bad reviews about the broken AC did not occur for us, the rooms were nicely aired and it was completely normal. After paying, you and your friends can eat (cost separate) and play for up to 3 hours! They have tons of classics such as CATAN, Sorry, Candy Land, and Taboo. However, they also have unique and uncommon games such as Haiclue, Daybreak, and Telestrations. My advice: definitely come early! Tables and seats are limited to a first-come-first-serve basis. You should also plan ahead of what you want to do. Some of these games take an hour or two, while others are fast a couple of minutes. Nonetheless, have fun and check out their shop section where you can buy some of the games too. Show less
