I’ve come in a few times to purchase tcg packs and the staff is always really friendly. Today I had a fantastic time actually sitting down and playing jumpstart with Ben. He was really helpful and I had a great time. I definitely recommend this location if you are looking for a nice, casual environment to play with your friends- the best part? New players are welcomed with open arms! Something I have not had a good experience with at other local game stores.I promise if you play here you are in for an amazing game night! Show less

I’ve come in a few times to purchase tcg packs and the staff is always really friendly. Today I had a fantastic time actually sitting down and playing jumpstart with Ben. He was really helpful and I had a great time. I definitely recommend this location if you are looking for a nice, casual environment to play with your friends- the best part? Store lied to my face. I wanted to purchase a booster box for the pre sale today. I saw that it was in stock and was waiting to purchase a box. Before doors opened i witnessed staff walk away with the 4 boxes they had. I was told repeatedly the presale happened yesterday, 9/21, not today, 9/22 which... Read more

Store lied to my face. I wanted to purchase a booster box for the pre sale today. I saw that it was in stock and was waiting to purchase a box. Before doors opened i witnessed staff walk away with the 4 boxes they had. I was told repeatedly the presale happened yesterday, 9/21, not today, 9/22 which was repeated advertised across social media and in person a week ago. It is one thing if boxes were not there, if the presale was canceled, or if it was specifically for another store location but nothing was disclosed as such. Show less

I did not have a good experience at the Park Place Mall location because the only employee present acted like any customer that walked into the store was basically invisible, yes it was right when the store had just opened, but he was not pleasant or responsive to anyone who greeted him with a genuinely pleasant "good morning!" which was four people as we walked in, and he offered no assistance, never offering to help me while I was clearly looking for a particular item on the stores shelves which aren't very well stocked in my opinion. I really hope my interaction, or in this case a lack there of, was an isolated incident, and everyone else gets a far better experience. Show less

I did not have a good experience at the Park Place Mall location because the only employee present acted like any customer that walked into the store was basically invisible, yes it was right when the store had just opened, but he was not pleasant or responsive to anyone who greeted him with a genuinely pleasant "good morning!" which was four people as we walked in, and he offered no assistance, never offering to help me while I was clearly looking for a particular item on the stores shelves which aren't very well stocked in my opinion. I think I've been to all the game stores in town and what I find I appreciate most and this store is the staff. I've come in with my family and they always engage with my kids and don't talk down to them and really respond to their questions. The gaming area is really great. Some might say that it could get a bit loud but my kids never find that to be an issue. I also really like the new location. Keep up the good work. Show less

This is a fun place to go if you enjoy playing board games or card games. They have some tournaments and events so you may want to call ahead to see how busy they are. Even with 2 group events going on we were able to get a table in the back to sit at and play. Expect to pay $5 per person at this ti... Read more

This is a fun place to go if you enjoy playing board games or card games. They have some tournaments and events so you may want to call ahead to see how busy they are. Even with 2 group events going on we were able to get a table in the back to sit at and play. Expect to pay $5 per person at this time for a table or purchase something as the charge can be put towards a purchase that day, which is what we did. They have a lot of board games and card games for sale as well as some memorabilia. We bought a Guess Who (the office) card game for $10 using our cover fee credit. The boxes for these cards were pretty bent up but the cards were not damaged. It's a fun version of the classic guess who game. They have games that cost up to $200 that I saw but a lot of them were $50 or less as well. Worth checking out if you enjoy games. The staff were nice and quite helpful. This was the Park Place location but they have a location at the Tucson mall as well. Show less
