6 years agoStopped by while in town to check the store out and pick up a model that my local stores were out of. Immediately greeted when walking in. Very friendly and responsive even the other patrons were friendly. Will definitely stop by again when back in N.O. and have more time to spend in the store.

4 years agoAn absolutely fantastic experience. Chaz, the shopkeep, is incredibly informative and helpful in all aspects of the hobby. Service is above and beyond. I would recommend anyone interested in Warhammer to go here first if only just to ask questions about the games and hobby of mini painting.

We came to New Orleans for vacation and our son loves WarHammer we visit one wherever we go. We tried on Wed July 12 th 2023 sign on the door says Closed AC is being worked on. We came back the next day before their posted opening time, saw a worker inside so we waited, and waited. Finally we knocked on the door. AC is still out and they won’t be opening at all til it’s fixed! But we are here and I get it , how hard would it have been to take 15 mins to let the young man get his thing he wanted . With a credit card sale. But make sure you lock the door and go about your day cause it was warm inside. Business must good to refuse a sale and crush a kid! No thanks Man UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR! We came to New Orleans for vacation and our son loves WarHammer we visit one wherever we go. We tried on Wed July 12 th 2023 sign on the door says Closed AC is being worked on. We came back the next day before their posted opening time, saw a worker inside so we waited, and waited. Finally we knocked on the door. Stopped in while on vacation to play and build a little. Ended up staying for hours and came back for another full day to build and play some more. The reason, store manager Chaz. He was a perfect balance of charm, knowledge, and humor. He made excellent suggestions, told wonderful stories, and was over all fantastic. When we go back to New Orleans we will be stopping in again, not only to spend time in the store but to visit Chaz again. You could spend a whole day in the area with phenomenal food options and the store itself is picturesque and in a beautiful neighborhood. Show less

When we go back to New Orleans we will be stopping in again, not only to spend time in the store but to visit Chaz again. 7 years agoAs far as GW locations go, you cannot beat this one, the prices are set across all the same. So it's the customer service factor and over all feel in the store. Chaz is by far great at making an inviting, warm, friendly but still business environment. It's a good balance.

3 years agoVisiting from out of town, I'm a collector and decided to stop in. The store manager was great--knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic without being pushy in any way. I was happy enough to actually take the time to write this review (uncommon for me).

There was a nice man with a British accent working when we visited. I came in to look for some Ravenwing bikes that I needed for a tournament just days later, and he happened to have a box. My son was also with me that day. He wanted a dark angels Pop figurine, but we didn't see one. While we were still browsing, the GW rep sneakily slipped it into my son's hands! I guess they had some in the stockroom? This store was nice, staff was excellent, and I'll be back when I come to visit again. Show less

Absolutely amazing! If you want to learn how to get into Dungeons and Dragons style gaming, this is definitely the place to go! Or, if you are looking for more figures for your collections, sets, etc, this is also a great place to go! Its very tight-knit and the people there are extremely friendly and helpful! I went in there not too long ago with no knowledge whatsoever of the hobby, and came out an hour later with enough info to start playing! They even offered for me to come back the next day for them to teach me how to properly paint/play! Definitely recommend! Show less

2 years agoChris is absolutely exceptional. He is so enthusiastic and makes the entire experience a blast to any newbie. He is so inviting. Highly recommend. If your new to warhammer Chris will get you started from the ground up. I just started and he was just so helpful.

This is a parent company that charges 20-40 dollars more for their product over ordering feom Amazon and has a history of abusing and manufacturing scarcity. The location itself is great and a fun place to learn, but until their parent company changes its weird pricing I can't recomend buying any of the minis here u less your ok paying that much more on average for something your already spending money on Show less
