I’ve visited this place several times recently. Thanks to the amazing and friendly staff was able to get guidance, build, and paint my models. It’s a kind of experience that’s not easy to have back in my country (Korea). During this trip, I really wanted to take the time to get painting material recommendations and try painting right here at the store. Since it's a popular area with many tourists, I chose a weekday to visit. I think I sat there for almost 5–6 hours. I got recommendations for the paints I needed right on the spot, bought them, and painted there. This is exactly what I wanted to do! I’m very grateful to the many staff members who gave me advice — it was such an enjoyable experience. I may not be able to come often, but I’d love to visit as frequently as I can. Haha. Show less

Everything good and bad about Games Workshop. The spectacle of it is great and a fantastic place to get friends into the hobby but under the surface it's just miserable. Whenever I've played games here and visited the store the Japanese staff have been great fun, chatting away and are truly passionate about their work and the community. But my worst experience in a Warhammer store was on my last trip when I watched the bitter expat manager do circuits of the store telling people not to sit there or not to do that. I'd spent a ridiculous amount of money on this overpriced plastic and went to buy a drink. Whilst i was waiting i was leafing through a White Dwarf magazine (hadn't even picked it up) before he glided in to tell me: "you can't read that in here mate." I seriously can't look at the Warhammer magazine in the Warhammer shop, holding my bag of Warhammer after playing a game of Warhammer, all while waiting for my Warhammer drink at the Warhammer café?! TLDR: If you are a real lover of the hobby and are looking for like-minded people then go to a local game store or the smaller GW stores that are about. Also, if you're looking to pick up the mini of the month, they run out within the first few hours. Cool titans tho. Show less

2 months agoMust stop for any Warhammer fan! Not only the shop is filled with Warhammer products, but you can also play there and paint your models. The staff was very kind and even suggested Japan exclusive products. And it’s not over! They’ve a cafe inside and everything we ordered was delicious ❤️

Literal mountain of Astreaus Super Heavy and other Forgeworld stock, as well as other Warhammer Store exclusive items. Manager is super friendly. Price after conversion from JPY is about MSRP in £. Good deal is you can't make a pilgrimage to UK/Warhammer World.

We were greeted by one of the staff members as soon as we walked in and had a great chat about warhammer, how the brand is doing in Japan and various other bits. You could tell he had a real passion for all things warhammer and it was cool to learn about how the brand is doing in Japan. All the other staff were also really friendly, enthusiastic and super helpful as well. The store had a better selection of stuff than most stores I have been in in the UK and some amazing titans/display models. We grabbed some hoodies (which the guy kindly helped us size as in many places you can’t try clothes on in Japan - not sure why but it was the same in almost every shop), we enjoyed a drink in the cafe and then left. Also the guys trick for checking sizes was spot on as the hoodie fits like a glove. Definitely worth a visit if you are into Warhammer and in the Akihabara area! Show less
