Recently attended a Warhammer event at Wizards Alley and was truly in awe of the experience. The staff were extremely attentive, proactive, and welcoming. Staff always made sure drink and food orders were filled and they were very prompt. Great amount of inventory for both hobby supplies and various gaming systems. Would absolutely come back and attend any event hosted at this establishment. Highly recommend the Wizard’s Wieners! Show less

Recently attended a Warhammer event at Wizards Alley and was truly in awe of the experience. The staff were extremely attentive, proactive, and welcoming. Staff always made sure drink and food orders were filled and they were very prompt. Great amount of inventory for both hobby supplies and various gaming systems. Wizards Alley feels like home away from home. I have never been to a card shop that rivals the family feel I get when walking through the doors to this wonderful place. Great comics, great card selection, board games, warhammer, it’s nerd heaven. Bam is also the most understanding owner and truly believes in fixing any problems you have immediately, and will accommodate to any request he can within reason. Wizards Alley feels like home away from home. I have never been to a card shop that rivals the family feel I get when walking through the doors to this wonderful place. Great comics, great card selection, board games, warhammer, it’s nerd heaven. Decent store, nice people working there. Seemed like they had a good community but their product selection was abysmal for Magic the Gathering products. A couple different sets of single booster packs for okay prices. Their single selection was barely playable cards, no collector boosters for sale, ... Read more

The guy at the counter greeted us when we came in, very polite. My son wanted to check out some Pokémon cards and the guy was so nice, answered every question and took the time with my kid. Great place for comics, table top games, figurines, and so so much more. My kid was all too eager to part with... Read more

Let me just summarize my rating by saying Wizards is the QuikTrip of card shops in Wichita. And as a woman who follows her man around town to other card shops for various card game and such, I’m confident in my assessment. They have the kindest people working there. You can tell the owners have pride in their shop and want to make you feel welcome and at home. BY FAR the nicest bathroom of any card shop in town. BY FAR. And if you know, you know. The expansion they are working on is literally the best thing ever. The new lounge area is perfect for people like me who want to support our people but don’t have the brains for the games. Who knows maybe the owner will let me host crochet nights for partners of players 🤣 Definitely worth the visit! The new addition is kind of hidden but I’m sure if you asked anyone to check that area out they would show you! Show less

You can tell the owners have pride in their shop and want to make you feel welcome and at home. BY FAR the nicest bathroom of any card shop in town. BY FAR. And if you know, you know. This is a great shop, with a lot of variety. Comics, cards, board and TTRPG games, miniatures, paints--a huge assortment of gamer and hobbyist interests in one shop. They also have a little bar for refreshments in the back of the store. The tables seemed to be available to rent/reserve, which is a great option for people who don't have a place to gather and game at home, or just for people who want to get out of the house. The art and graffiti outside add to the wonder as you're first heading up the alley or in from the little parking lot. I'd definitely recommend stopping here if you're not quite sure what you're in the mood to pick up.
